TMDb Movie cover art
« on: May 22, 2014, 06:15:42 pm »

The auto-scraping feature of MC 19 is excellent.  The best data seem to be supplied by TMDb.  Unfortunately, it seems that TMDb only supply cover art intermittently - is someone at JRiver trying to sort this out?

Otherwise, I am loving the JRiver MC - it really is brilliant,

Cover Art works pretty reliably for me. It might be that we reached a limit of the API and they throttled the requests at the time you were trying.

I found that it was working reliably until a few days ago.  Since then, I have found that it is out of action more often than not.  Try now, for example, and you will see what I mean.  I access this fairly frequently at present as I am in the process of setting my library up.

I was just about to say that things have been fine for me, but all four of the new films I just imported earlier today are missing cover art. :-\

Did you have a look to JRMovieDB (http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=87703.0) it's an add-on that offers several other scraping facilities (foreign language support, selective field filling, etc)
It could help.
