Can't get JRiver on Mac to play to Devialet

Hi folks,
Any Devialet owners out there who might be able to help? I'm probably missing something simple.
Having run MC19 on a Windows laptop through my Devialet successfully, I've now installed the Mac version on a new Mac mini (Mavericks). JRiver will play through the Mac's internal speakers OK, and I can get iTunes to play to the Devialet from the Mac. But JRiver won't play through the Devialet.
The Devialet is showing up under Audio devices.

OK, folks, you can stand down. I've just cracked it!
By default JRiver had 'open device with exclusive access' checked (under audio device options). Once I'd unchecked that, it was fine.

Would be interesting to know, if you get the same problem as I do when switching the sample rate (see my post in this forum)
