Question on DSD to PCM Playback
« on: May 29, 2014, 07:56:38 am »

I have only one DSD file at this time. My DAC via USB only supports 24/96. Under the Tools display for Audio Path I see the following:

Input: 352.8kHz 64bit 2ch from source format DSF

Changes: Resample from 352.8kHz to 96kHz

Output: 96kHz 24bit 2ch using Core Audio (not using enough bits to output the input directly)

Is that last line simply confirming the limitation of my DAC or is there some adjustment I am supposed to do for the bit level?

Thanks

Yes, that's just the DAC limitation.
