Configuring JRemote for a second computer
« on: July 01, 2014, 04:10:46 pm »

Really need some help.  I'm trying to use jremote wth a computer I bought just to run JRiver and I'm not able to connect.  I generated a new access key but keep getting a message that says "Could not connect to server. Make sure it's available"... CAn someone talk me through what I'm doing wrong?  Thanks!

Figured it out.  Yes was a firewall issue.  Had to disable McAfee firewall... But is that a good idea?  Anyway to use firewall and still access remote?

add an exception to the firewall.  And no you dont need a firewall at home.  (in my opinion)
