1.Trying to make image playlists; "Importing single file" (full of photos) always fails.   What am I doing wrong.

2. Folder rule for images only allows variations of date and year; can I change the rule to file name [name]?

1.  How exactly does it fail when you "Import a single folder"?  Did you make sure select the checkbox next to "Image" on the next import screen?  Without checking that, it won't look for images in that folder.

2. You can change how it groups the files by clicking on the tab near the top of the screen that has the name of the library view you're in. Choose [Group By > None].

Thank you, but I have been checking the image box and it still cannot fine the images which are in "my pictures" .
