Getting my blu ray concerts seperated from my movies?
« on: June 22, 2014, 08:28:39 am »

Hello.

I have desperately been trying all day to seperate my blu ray concerts from my movies.

I am trying to make a "Concert" category in "Theaterview" so that it can look like this:

Theaterview main:

- Movies
- Concerts
- Music

Or atleast make it:

Video:
- Movies
- Concerts

I've searched for posts and guides and come to a dead end.

Right now, if I import my "concerts" library JRiver just throws it into my movies library in theaterview.

Any tips?:)

Edit the file tags (right-click, and select "tag"  or press Alt+Enter on your keyboard) so that the Media Sub Type is different for the files; "Movies" or "Concert"

When setting up views in Theater View, make sure they include a rule via "set rules for file display" which specifies a Media Sub Type.

I just checking some of them, tags are either musical or music. My entire Video: Movies folder have these "blu ray concerts" imported into it.

So although the tags are corrects? music/musical, they still end up in my movie folder.

I managed to create a menu item in Theaterview with the name "Concerts", but not sure how to import just a particular folder into it and tell jriver is it music videos/concerts.

This is helping, I've managed to seperate them. I think I am mixing up some things still.

Takes time to learn: last week I had a cold, and because of that I had enough time at home experimenting and let me tell you ,  you can configure this program in any way you like, but you will need time to learn for sure, is not easy until you understand how it works. The questions that we all has, has been answered in the past and you need to do some research in the forum. Time, pacience, and if you can find it, a severe cold  ;D, this is my recipe for success with this program
