Hi first post here but long time user of MC.

Problem:

Problem occured when I updated to 19.01.138 previous version worked fine.  Only when I upsample  DXD .wav to 2xDSD in DOP.
Playback lags/skips/pauses. The rest (mp3, flac, dsd) have normal upsampled playback only DXD.

The rest upsampling method DSD in DOP, Output to 384Khz works fine with DXD.

DSD are bitstreamed.

Updated to 19.01.143 same problem.

Equipment Info:

DAC: Geek Out 1000 (ES9018K2M, 32/384, DSD128)
Computer: X58 i920 12GB on Win7 X64 Ult.
Software: iZotope Ozone 5 Advanced as VST plugin to MC

I don't think anything has changed here.  Could you try updating to 19.0.143 and report your result?

Yep, same thing Matt, as posted above.

With DXD (24/352) file upsampled to 2xDSD DoP:
ASIO lags/skips while KS hangs.
All other PCM files plays the same.

Same behavior with a 32/384 test file that i downloaded from MSB.

Shifting to upsample DSD DoP:
Both ASIO and KS was able to play w/o glitches on DXD

With 32/384 test file, ASIO was able to play, KS no.

Don't know if its device dependent.

To be honest now Matt was not sure anymore if on the previous version I played the DXD files upsampled or not.
But what's important is there is an issue you might check.

Update: Played on the "other" freeware software, upsampled it to DSD128: No problems on playback on both DXDs and the 32/384 test file.

I have found the problem: Low CPU power...

Now playing DXD fine w/ 2xDSD in DOP upsampling w/ iZotope Ozone 5 Adv. as VST plugin.
