MC buries the frequently used EQ function inside DSP - not a good idea. Suggest:
1. Expose EQ in the main screen.
2. Make customized EQ settings selectable by clicking simple numeric buttons
3. Make these numeric EQ buttons also 'toggleable' from a remote control.
I have 2 rationale for this request.
a) My library consists of songs dating from the early days of CD plus files converted from LP. Early CDs are not produced as good as today's and require customized EQs to fix. Same goes for LP files. During listening, I like to easily call up a set of EQs to match the various original source as well as genre. Going through the DSP menu with mouse is just a pain.
b) I use my fancy DAC to work as preamp, a move gaining popularity. I.e. PC running MC connects to the DAC, which connects directly to the power amp, with the usual preamp eliminated (!). That means MC becomes the sole tone and volume center. Bringing out the EQ for tone control right next to the volume slider in the main screen becomes very desirable.
