Importing M3U playlists from MC16
« on: August 04, 2014, 10:21:22 am »

Hi all.  It's been awhile since I have posted anything as I have haven't had any issues to speak of.
I've been trying to import some of my old playlists from MC 16.  They have been exported to a M3U format by MC 16.  MC 19 fails to import any of these files.  All the music files are in the same location on the server.  I am using a windows version 19.0.149.

Any recommendations?

Are you importing the playlists or just the files?  Look at the playlists to see if the location looks right.

I exported the playlists to the default setting C:\Documents and Settings\Student\Application Data\J River\Media Center 16\Library\Playlists\Imported Playlists.  I then went into MC 19 to import these playlists.  I tried individual and as a group.  Both ways it failed.

Maybe try a different format than M3U.  Try MPL for example.
