Any audio upgrades slated for version 20?

Are there any audio quality upgrades slated for version 20 ?

You cannot really increase the quality of bit perfect audio.

You cannot really increase the quality of bit perfect audio.
Declipping can help a lot with poorly mastered tracks.

Because Volume Leveling is an unmovable plugin in Media Center, it's not really possible to leave a declipping plugin enabled right now though, since clipping happens in the upper 3dB or so.
 
 
At one point Matt seemed interested in this, but I don't know that anything ever came of it.

Interesting suggestion. Went for a wander and then I wondered, "What would Audacity do?"

Yes, this is why I would prefer to use a VST plugin for it, rather than processing my tracks offline.
Declipping is probably never going to be perfect, so it's nice to have the option of changing the software doing the processing at a later date.
