Different behavior Tree and thumbnail view
« on: August 13, 2014, 06:55:06 am »

I have a category view Composers-Composition
At the bottom I can open the file panel
If I select a Composer in the thumbnail view, the compositions are displayed in the file panel
If I do exactly the same, selecting a composer but this time in the Tree view, the file panel disappears and no way to display it.

I would appreciate if one select a child in the tree view, the file panel will be available too.

Is it possible that List Style is set to Thumbnails instead of Details?

Hi Matt

It is.
I can toggle the "second" view to details but then I don't have the file panel either.
This detail view is doable but the split pane is superior for a good overview.
Besides I don't see why selecting a composer in the thumbnail view or doing exactly the same in the tree should yield different views.

Have you tried Customize View → Always Show Files?

Yes, but it only works on top level, not with the children in a tree
