JRiver in Mac

Hello, I am rather new to JRiver on a Mac. I had JRiver for Windows.  After installation of the new version MC19, I saw that it is not installed in the Application folder of my Mac. After shutting down my Mac I have to reinstall the program every time.
Is this normal or how to fix the problem?

During the installation, it pops up a finder dialog that gives you the option to drag Media Center into your Application folder.  Did you do that?
