Reading through all the information, it seems that the id has 1 HDMI out, 1 USB out, 1set of 3.5 TRS out, one LAN port. Is his correct?
What DAC does the id use?

Is the id fanless? If not, is there variable fan speed control?
Does it have a power saving mode and what is the idle power in that mode?
soongsc:
Does the software upgrade automatically? What are upgrading policies for software on these, paid or free?
