New Feature Request
« on: August 29, 2014, 10:35:07 am »

Possible to keep a file (track) once for those that may be on multiple albums, yet show and be able to play the track on each of those albums?  Having several individual albums and then a Greatest Hits album is an example of when this would be useful.

Thanks

It's not really possible.  You could manually put a file in two playlists that are albums, but it won't be automatic.

no one wants this too much, because the greatest hits album (for example) is often a different master from the orignal album, or one might have a bunch of different releases/remasters of the same album.  there is no completist who would ever remove tracks from an album

if you really wanted i imagine you could use the link tracks feature to figure some way to make the track play in the right sequence with different albums, but i'm unsure if you can link one track to more than one other track....anyone?
