audio CD will not auto start from win7
« on: August 30, 2014, 09:37:09 pm »

When I insert a audio CD a few seconds later windows ask me if I wanted to use JRiver to play the CD. JRiver comes up and sits there unless I use quick play. If I have JRiver already open and I insert a audio CD it will start playing in JRiver but not on the Win7 desktop. I thought it worked before where JRiver will launch from windows and play the CD without any future action on my part. Is there a way to make this work?

Found a way to get JRiver to auto play audio CD's First I tell win7 auto play setting to take no action when an audio CD is inserted. Then JRiver under options startup: startup
on windows just the Media Server.  JRiver need the Media Server to be running in order to detect a inserted audio CD which would then start JRiver with the options you choose for auto play audio CD settings in JRiver from windows desktop. Took a bit of  thought to straight this out.
