Tree collapse when using Drives and Devices
« on: September 01, 2014, 04:35:44 pm »

I sometimes prefer to locate tracks by opening Drives & Devices and then using Explorer to drill through my folders.  Since I upgraded to v20, whenever I start to play a track in this view the tree that I opened up automatically collapses, and to get back to where I was I have to click through Explorer again.  This collapse never occurred when I did the same thing on older versions.  Is there a way to prevent this from happening?  Thanks for your help!

I'm not able to reproduce this.  Tips?

It specifically occurs when I have navigated to a folder on my [LAN] network.  As soon as I click on a specific track to play, the Explorer tree collapses.

Even if I navigate to a folder under Network, it still doesn't collapse on playback.  Strange.

Thanks for checking it out.  It is still happening every time I play in a track in that way.  Annoying to say the least!  Does the explorer view in JRiver inherit settings from the main Windows Explorer?  If so, perhaps some setting in Windows 7 Explorer is causing this to happen?

Perhaps it depends on whether you're using the arrows to expand the tree or not?
