Tempo adjustment is too brute
« on: September 02, 2014, 07:42:37 am »

the tempo control within the DSP, is a great tool, works beautifully, does not degrade sound quality much.
It is a must for some classical music, as the tempo of performances vary uncomfortably between different conductors/players.
However, all that is needed for serious adjustment is no more than +/-10% !
At +/- 300% (currently) it is just a party tool!
Please limit this, it is difficult to set it easily.

You can type in an exact value.  Using the mouse wheel over the slider might also help.

I know, but it is very fiddly and difficult,
truly!
3 times the speed? that is beyond a party trick tool.
I bet most serious users will not go beyond +/- 5% .
It is not a serious flaw, just an annoyance.
