TuneIn Internet Radio DLNA Playback...?
« on: September 07, 2014, 12:58:14 pm »

Trying to figure out how to play internet radio via DLNA to my Samsung SmartTV -- video and audio files play without issue, but I can't seem to get internet radio playback to work and am wondering if it's just not possible.  Is there a way...?

Thanks -- while disappointing, it's good to know I can stop trying.  Samsung just updated the firmware for my SmartTV and the streaming is flawless from MC now, even high-def files -- previous performance was spotty.

Now, if only MC would save my place if I stop a video stream.  Currently, it doesn't -- unless it's paused.  If I stop it, it restarts from the beginning.

Try saving the stream as a playlist.

Thanks for the feedback on Samsung.  Maybe they test against JRiver now.

Maybe, and if not, they should -- but 'improvements to DLNA' was listed in the change-list for the firmware update...

Just tried the playlist suggestion, same error:
