Pass audio to MC from other Windows programs?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that there is a way to pass the Audio through MC from other windows programs therebye eliminating the issue of not getting sound from them when MC is open.

I can't seem to find that info though and am wondering what is involved in setting it up?  Or did I misunderstand something?

You can use Loopback.  File > Open Live... > WASAPI Loopback
