Can we have an option to make this password protected please?

Just the option that deletes it from both the library and the underlying storage system. I use a NAS so don't have Recycle Bin safety.

Or even better something similar to UAC in Windows, where most functionality is locked down by default (like adding, deleting, changing the library and changing any options) but you can enable elevated mode (from say Tools > Elevate) by entering a password/pin.

I use Party Mode with a password,   "View - Partymode"

Most of the important functions are disabled

I have learnt from experience to keep this turned on.....
