Gizmo and volume leveling

Are there any plans to implement volume leveling in Gizmo? Is it even technically possible?

I like to listen to music when I go to sleep but the lack of volume leveling makes this tricky as often when I'm just drifting off to sleep a particularly loud track starts and wakes me up :)

Does the fact that we now have DSP for DLNA bring us any close to having it in Gizmo. Or are the 2 unrelated?
