Whenever I build a new PC (for myself), I usually end up reinstalling the OS and some programs several times just because I can.

The first time I installed the HDHomerun software and then JRiver. HDHomerun setup firewall rules and I was prompted by the firewall to allow JRiver in/out access.
The second time I received no prompt from the Windows firewall regarding JRiver. When I scanned for channels, no channels showed up. I knew what the problem was and manually added the firewall rules.
Is there a way for JRiver to make this more automatic? The more casual user would probably get frustrated when a channel scan didn't work.
