352 bitrate WAVs produce static
« on: February 02, 2002, 12:14:36 am »

I've got some WAV files (MJ reports them as bitrate 352) that play fine in Winamp / Windows Media Player but just produce 'static' when played through MJ.  Any ideas?

TIA.

Windows Media player Plays them, not sure if you can save them to another format with it.

Thanks again.  I should have been clearer in my last question - I know I can play them in WMP but would like to convert them so they play in MJ.  Anybody suggest a tool for doing that?

TIA.

MJ plays and converts WMA's doesn't it? Maybe WMP will convert to WMA and then MJ can handle it from there??

If there's a way of converting WAVs to WMAs in WMP I can't see it.  I'll maybe have a play with Winamp... see if that'll do it for me.  Any other suggestions gratefully received.

Thanks.
