EPG Profile deletion
« on: October 12, 2014, 02:18:26 pm »

My EPG profile list on TV setup is now overflowing, because I was experimenting with all of the local area listings while setting up in my new house.

Is there a way to delete the profiles?  I can't even see the bottom of the list currently...

Perhaps someone could move this to TV Cards and TV.

It would be a good idea if the profiles could be named as well, rather than differentiating them by reading the complete settings. The creation of profiles is a little bit "behind the scenes" so what has and has not been created isn't entirely obvious.

But I was just happy to get the new functionality around EPG management, so I haven't mentioned further improvement ideas.  :)

I have like 8-10 profiles, that were all very similar while trying to get it just right...surely there has to be someway to delete the extra ones.

I will add the functionality.  In the mean time, you can use RegEdit to delete them:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JRiver\Media Center 20\Properties

Delete "EPG - Profile 0", "EPG - Profile 1", "EPG - Profile 2", etc.
