Play list problems - SD card

As stated in a earlier post, I'm still trying to master MC.  Can someone tell me how to get music files residing on an SD card to
show as part of my playlist.  It seems to be showing only the files on my c: drive.

tools>options>Library&Folders>configure auto import>sd card
