Volume control on external USB speakers
« on: January 30, 2002, 03:57:11 pm »

Hello y'all again,

I have my USB speakers working now with MJ 8.0.189. Thanks for the advice from other users !!
One more problem however. In the 'old' version once I elected to run MJ through my USB speakers, the volume control from MJ would drive these. Now in this new version they do not. What am I doing wrong here or ...
I have tried both the Direct as well as the Wave Out options, but no difference.
Thanks for any help out there.

I had a problem that might be in the same area. when I upgraded to the beta 8 my surround sound went away and I was stuck with 2 speakers as apposed to the 5 that I have. Look at the box at the bottom of the MJ screen, the one right of the DSP box. Click it and then select play back opptions. on the bottom half of the new pop up window you will see the settings for out put. play around with theses settings and it might fix your problem. It fixed mine.  Hope this helped.
