Restoring License
« on: January 30, 2002, 04:39:06 am »

I can't seem to restore my license!!  Please help.  I purchase v7 and upgraded to v8 beta.  When I restore the license, it still states I have 24 days on my trial.  What is going on?

Thanks,

What's the name of the license?

Try restoring from a floppy disk.

Name of license as follows.

MediaJukebox7.RRG

I am restoring from a Compact Flash Card reader.  Floppy shouldn't make any difference, should it?  When I restore the license, message states, "Registration Information Restored".  Then next time I start it, it says, "Only __ days left in your trial, buy now, continue, etc"

I just upgraded to 8.0.195 and under File...Restore License is greyed out.

How can I get it restored?

Thanks.

rar2667> If Restore License is greyed out, then MJ thinks it's already been restored.

Are you having problems otherwise?

I don't have Media View, so I assumed I needed to restore license. Looks like the Media Editor and burning functions are ok, though. Maybe there is a way to turn on Media View in 8.0?

rar2667,

Media Jukebox 8.0 does not have Media View, Media View functionality has been moved to Media Library.
