Can't find library
« on: November 01, 2014, 10:13:44 am »

Please forgive me for the new question but according to my library manager the "Main Library" is not where J River tells me it should be.  In fact the path does not even exist.

It's supposed to be at /users/macmini/library/application support/j river/media center 20/library/

However I don't have a folder under Macmini named library.  Am I losing my mind???  :)

Also, another question -

Assume I have all my music .wav files in a folder on my desktop, and I import them into JRiver.  Does it essentially make a duplicate copy into my "library" (which I can't find).  haha

Can I delete the .wav files from my desktop once I import them?

Thanks!

Nope.  You're not losing your mind.

Since Lion, OSX hides the Library folder.  You can get it back:

In Yosemite, it is easier to get them back:

No.  It does NOT.

and this:

(this latter one has details about the Windows version, not the OSX version, but the concepts remain the same, the storage locations on disk are just different)
