here are my top requests for the Android app, mostly related to video and to playback on the device directly, not to using it as a remote.

1. Playing now bar always visible at top of bottom while browsing so that it is always quick and easy to get to currently playing item.

2. Fix the seek bar.
It doesn't update to show the current playback position. It has been like this for a while.

3. Device specific playing now.
If I get disconnected from the Internet Gizmo always resets to going back to the top screen and I have to find what item I was playing and then play it again and see to the last point I was at. Gizmo should always remember what was last being played on the device and the last time code it played to. Then if I get disconnected all I have to do is go to playing now and hit play again.

4. Ability to change audio and subtitle streams of a video playing on the device.

- Remember playing now status (even after reboot phone, even after 2 weeks)

I would also like the quality settings of video to be changeable at the video playback level instead of as a global setting. I am often in different situations (moving on a train, or static at an office) and want to change my playback settings based on where I am at the time.

I have asked about this before and I don't know if it's possible but it would be a cool feature:

- Saving songs on device aka "Offline mode" (Like Spotify)

It would be great to be able to rate songs that you are playing from the remote.

I think you can.  You have to use authentication on the server.

I would like to be able to see the TV/Cable guide in Gizmo similar to that of theater view.
