No APE or OGG encoding in Mac Version 20.0.38 ??
« on: November 18, 2014, 10:57:55 am »

I went to rip a CD and first checked my encoding settings. There is no Monkey .APE or .OGG formats listed in the available encoding formats in V20.0.38. However, the V20 Mac version of MC plays previously encoded .APE & .OGG files without problem.

Am I missing something?  ?

APE coming in upcoming build.  OGG a bit later.

Great! What would be the best (lossless) format to rip to in the interim, with the intent of converting the rip to APE or OGG later?

Thank you for your help!

APE is available now in build 39 (that's out).  It's a great choice for a format.

All of my current rips are in APE format. Nice that I won't have to rip to an interim format until APE comes out. Oh wait - it is out already! Dang you guys are FAST!  ;D
