Feature Request: partitioned convolution engine

Are there any plans in this direction? The advent of the wdm driver makes low latency convolution more desirable than ever as we are not shielded by the jriver video engine.

BruteFIR is one such implementation and provides a basic readme on the subject - http://www.ludd.luth.se/~torger/brutefir.html#bruteconv_3

Obviously I realise this is a somewhat niche interest but don't ask, don't get :)
