1. Fixed: DLNA: MC as renderer, when receiving a SetNextAVtransportURI, MC was allowing the playlist to grow beyond 2 items which is incorrect. This caused playlist sync issues.
2. Fixed: DLNA: MC as controller, fix bug in event send when changing playlist position 1.
3. Fixed: DLNA: MC as controller timing issue, make sure the first track is playing (for at least 5 seconds) before doing the SetNextAVTransportURI function.
4. Fixed: DLNA: MC as controller, when playlist position current +1 changes send a new SetNextAVTransportURI to devices that support it.
5. Fixed: The change from 20.0.31 (Back out library server hiding when the library is empty introduced in 19.0.71) missed the library server visibility (it was showing the DLNA servers).

1. renaming or moving a file will only rename the library path, but will not touch the file name on disk, so the link is broken (this is true for local and nfs based files)

That sounds like a filesystem permissions issue; are you sure the user you're trying to do those operations as has appropriate permissions for the files and all relevant directories/trees?  You may need to set the execute bit as some kinds of directory traversal require the x bit set.

Rename/move is working perfectly for me (and has been) on MC for Linux in both Arch 64-bit and Debian Jessie 64-bit.  It only fails when I've goofed up permissions, and in those circs it fails exactly the way you describe (MC updates the library but the files don't change).

thanks for the reply, but I goofed it. MC did exactly what it was told: Rename the database without moving any file. After I've corrected the settings in the "Copy and move" window, everything works fine
