I am converting around 800 SACD ISOs to FLAC and I am running into the following issue:

• after around 70 ISOs, the conversions start failing
• the converter attempts to convert (but fails) around another 200 ISOs, creates the directories, but no converted FLACs
• then MC20 crashes and produces the following error message

I then restarted MC20 and the conversion process. The converter picked up where it left off (as it should) and converted another around 70 ISOs. Then it started failing again and ran to the end of the selected ISOs, completing a few conversions on the way and failing the vast majority. This time it did not produce the c++ runtime error

I can restart the conversion process and then it will produce some more successful conversion, but ultimately fail again.

There are two more issues that I have seen:

• the filename of the converted files is [filename of ISO][track#-trackname]. This sometimes results in very long filenames and paths that exceed the windows 260 char limit. These files then become very cumbersome to deal with. It would be very helpful to have a template with which to set the naming of the converted files. For the time being I am using the following workaround: truncate the files with the "Cut Long File Names" utility and then rewrite the filenames based on the tags (which are correct) using mp3tag
• cover art does not get embedded into the converted FLAC files. It would be good to embed the cover art that is defined in the MC20 tags of the ISOs and copy the cover art jpg to the target directory

Can you use Help > Logging, and share a crash log?

I have run the conversion with logging turned on. After the conversion started failing (around 1 hour of converting), the logfile was 6Gb.
I did a second run and after converting one SACD, the log was 32'000 lines long.
I can get the log to you via dropbox if that helps.
When the conversion was producing failures, the processor load dropped to a few % (see attached).

Ok, next try.
In order to reduce the size of the log, I now converted to WAV instead of FLAC (less conversion steps). JRiver again crashed with the c++ error message. The log up to the crash is attached, as is the error message.

Can you post the full bundle from 'Report a Problem'?  That way we have the crash dump.

Hi Matt
When JRiver stopped, it froze, so I was not able to open the help menu and press the 'report' button.
I restarted JRiver and then pressed report. I have attached the result.

It's weird that the log you attached doesn't have a .dmp file (dump of the symbols).  Could you try again and see if one appears?

This time around a dump magically appeared
- no c++ runtime error though. JRiver simply stopped
- could not push report button because JRiver was frozen
- restarted JRiver and was able to report the dump

I have noticed a few issues myself with SACD ISO conversion (no crash though) giving mixed or garbled tracks.
