Default 'roller' views
« on: November 23, 2014, 01:54:42 am »

Hey,

If I go into Theater View and navigate to a specific view, inside a roller, then go back to a roller or close and re-open Theater View, then go back to a roller menu it remembers the last used view.  So:

Theater View 'start page' > Video (roller) > Films (roller) > Recently Watched (view)

I would ideally like the ability to set a default view inside a roller (Films for example), so it always opens in my 'All' view.

So at the roller level, have a drop down box that allows you to specify a default view.

If you use MC in a client/server setup, you kind-of can do this.

It remembers the last used view (the ones "left open").  However, all clients remember the ones left open on the server, not per client, at least when they first launch.  So, I set up my server with Theater View in a fixed configuration, and then my htpc and other clients start up in a "known" configuration.

Or, even easier, make it always open on the first view in the list.

But then some might like the fact it remembers the last view.
