« on: November 23, 2014, 03:28:08 am »

I'm new to jriver - having found the apple remote app failing with iTunes in the latest OS's

does the jriver app use wifi to "talk" to the computer?

Yes.

It's possible to use JRemote on an iPad from a remote location on the Internet, but I don't think that's what you're asking.  Within your home, you would use your wireless network.

We have a board devoted to remotes.

And JRemote works great, the best remote app ever in my experience.
