export JRiver settings to a file??
« on: February 11, 2015, 02:33:21 pm »

Is there a way to export JRiver setting to a file so I can verify a customers setup? We are having trouble with JRiver and our DAC, reguarding gapless playback. I would like to know if there is a way to have customers export their JRiver setting to a file so I can verify they are setup correctly

Settings are part of a library backup.

He can send you the backup.  When you restore it you can choose options and library separately.

Will the backup file fit into an email?

Of course.  Email doesn't have a size limit.

Note, the jriver library backup produces a zip file that includes a "User Settings.ini" file that has all the settings in text form that you can view in notepad (running MC version 26.0.69).
