I partially solved the problem by manually adding the video category via the customized views. Apparently, the latest versions of MC20 for Mac reset this back to a default when there was no video function. The remaining issue is when the video category is selected all videos are displayed without any subcategories (movies, shows, etc) plus there is no tab in the upper left corner to go back to the previous screen; the only way back is to swipe right.
