1. Fixed: Importing audio files with a CUE side-car would mistakenly import duplicate files.

1. Fixed: DLNA: MC as renderer, when receiving a SetNextAVtransportURI, MC was allowing the playlist to grow beyond 2 items which is incorrect. This caused playlist sync issues.
2. Fixed: DLNA: MC as controller, fix bug in event send when changing playlist position 1.
3. Fixed: DLNA: MC as controller timing issue, make sure the first track is playing (for at least 5 seconds) before doing the SetNextAVTransportURI function.
4. Fixed: DLNA: MC as controller, when playlist position current +1 changes send a new SetNextAVTransportURI to devices that support it.
5. Fixed: The change from 20.0.31 (Back out library server hiding when the library is empty introduced in 19.0.71) missed the library server visibility (it was showing the DLNA servers).

just so ya know, the 'installer' box is a lot larger now...not that it matters and also noticed the progression bar and below it ...when you are analyzing is much much larger also...not that it matters.

What size are you talking about?  The installer is the same size it's always been for me.

Is it possible you've set something other than 100% in MC > View > Size?

I've noticed it as well.  The installer window was the first place I noticed it and then the play list large tab buttons right across the standard view and a couple of other places.

The Installer window, the buttons along the bottom there vertical height has increased but the text of the button remains as before. Which makes it look like there is too much space around the text to the edge of the buttons.

And in standard view the numbered playlist save buttons,  same thing, looks like lots of vertical height to the button with no increase in text size.  

Some other places as well, just buttons and text boxes looking a bit too big for the text inside them.  Like the top right (standard view) search box... is like a black hole now with the tiny word 'search' in the middle.


I'm using black on black skin, and have option to change view/size in this skin.

I don't mind it, as I view MC on a large 50+ plasma screen from 8 ft away.

Seems like its a problem with the black on black skin.  Changing to another skin seems to fix the large buttons.   Is there an updated black on black I can download?

Thanks but I prefer black on black. It's much easier on these old eyes..and as stated in my first post it's not a big deal just thought you would want to know. At that time i had no clue it was the skin...thanks

1) Cannot drag & drop a Video file into Playing Now - MC shows a circle with a line through it,
however it will play if I right-click the file in it's windows folder and choose "Play in Media Center"


2) In Windows7 every time I try to open Media Center I get a UAC dialog "Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer"
I am logged on as Admin and have already tried "Run As Administrator" yet continue to get this message every time I open MC.

I'm guessing that because I had my skin set to black on black,  the new installers read this and show the installer in that style?  that's why I got those large buttons on this installer.  And on the standard view skin view.   The version before 44 was fine.  So something in this new version that disagrees with black on black.

I kind like the big buttons,  but without being able to also increase the font size in them they do look big and spacey.


I only like the black and dark grey skins, because of my eyes.  And in low light at night viewing on the large plasma screen black and dark grey skins are easy good for me.  Skins like Air, Pearl, Silent Night, and black on black.

Is there an updated black on black,  maybe I've got an older version still.  Or is it bundled in the installer. I don't know.

I can drop the file into VLC or GOM player, but not into MC
I just discovered that the same happens with audio files, I can drop them into VLC, Foobar, GOM, but not MC

You getting a uac prompt on starting, so it's running as admin
You cannot drag/drop from normal programs to programs run as admin, it's a security feature
Try to figure out why it's starting as admin and stop it - check the compatability tab of the exe's properties (or it's shortcut)

That solved it . . . sort of:
if I click on the MC executable in it's program folder it opens normally,
if I send a shortcut from there to the desktop, it opens normally,
but, the shortcut that MC had created on install either on the desktop or in the Start menu, it tries to run as Admin.
