Any way we could get a funtion that "snaps to," or goes to the song playing in the viewer while playing a song?

Any one else looking for a tool like this?  Maybe you can describe a usage scenario and the benefits of such a shortcut.

I'd like to have something like that too.
Whenever I have a long list of songs and, for example, change momentarily the way they are sorted clicking on a different column, it's not very fast and easy to find the song that is playing...

What I mean is, when shuffle is enabled, the current song being played isn't at the top of the queue.  Thus, you have to search for the green box, which denotes the song that is being played.  Overall, it's like the way iTunes (not to compare since MC is far better) handles the now playing files.

We don't have a specific shortcut for this.  One thing you can do is click on any another view and then click on playing now and it will bring the currently playing track into the view window.

Or press Cmd-R (re-shuffle) once or twice to show the current playing track at the top of the playing now window.  Since you're already playing in shuffle mode, another shuffle or two won't hurt.

True.  Thanks for the tip.  I don't see an option for "playing now" in the View Menu.

When I said "click on any other view", I meant in the view tree in the left-hand window.  For example, click "Audio" or "Video" or "Playlists" or something.

Also, I said "Ctrl-R" for re-shuffle above.  On Mac it's "Cmd-R".
