DSD File 64 (2.8 Mhz) versus 128 (5.6 Mhz) with Renderer SMS-100
« on: December 25, 2014, 06:50:55 am »

Hello
When I play DSD 128 file, JRiver will play only half of the file (basically the time displayed when playing is divided by 2 versus the normal duration and it will switch to the new song at the middle of the song and so on...)
There is no issue with DSD 64.
Also when I play the music on my MacBook directly this is also fine. It is only the DLNA that is causing troubles with the renderer SOTM SMS-100.
My rendere and Dac are both compatible 128 so I cannot see any reason why it does happen like that.
Is there any setting to do in JRiver ?

Thanks in advanced for your help.

Hello

Please see the settings I have in JRiver for the renderer.
Is there anything wrong ?
Why is DSD 128 being cut in 2 ?

Thanks

Hello

I keep replying myself to my own post....
Basically according to people using MC too, there is an issue with DSD 128 in DoP mode with a renderer... not sure it is JRiver or Sms-100

MC programmers, could you confirm it ? Otherwise please let me know how to fix it.

Thanks and Regards

You're a little out on the bleeding edge, so please be patient.

You could post on the Media Network board and link to this thread.  Bob reads posts there.
