I am trying the 30 day trial version of JRiver MC...I downloaded the most current version from the forums here.

I have tried numerous times to import my library from my Synology NAS (+/- 200GB) JRiver MC gets to a certain point and then locks up. Once it said it had imported 230 files, another time it said it imported 4570 files, and another time it said it had imported 24,567. However it never finishes importing all of my files. I've let it sit for over 1 hour and it never moved passed the number when it locks up.

I have to use Force Quit in Mac to get the program to stop.

Any idea as to why this might be happening???

I really don't want to use iTunes, but this is not a good start with JRiver MC either...

Well after 15 or 16 times. It appears that MC is working properly. It has imported my 50K+ files and it is currently importing thumbnails....So far so go...Probably shouldn't post this till it's finished but here's to hoping it finishes soon!!!    8)

It's possible that it was just unresponsive, not locked.
