How do I control what gets shuffled?

In iTunes, you can set a flag so that the entire library gets shuffled.  I am unable to determine how to do this within MC.  Hitting shuffle does shuffle the songs within an album but I want it to be universal.

Since I'm a newbie with a headcold, I know I'm either missing something entirely, or else I'm missing something entirely.

What am I missing?

in standard view, on the tab that's open the little down arrow gives u tons of options...a playlist can also be locked.
