Use DSP Studio to pick a reasonable sample rate, and of course make sure DSP is enabled. Does that make it work?
BTW the SACD default "sample rate" is 2'822'400 Hz (= bit rate in bits per second) which is what is shown in MC's display columns; but MC internally converts that to a 352'800 Hz sample rate (= same bit rate but in bytes per second); and if you convert such a SACD file to say WAV at 24 bit depth, you end up with a file with a 352'800 Hz sample rate and 24 bit depth = 8'467'200 bits per second; so a SACD to WAV conversion at default settings produces 3 times as many bits per second as the original; surely its magic ...
