Media Center crashed and would not restart
« on: January 04, 2015, 10:03:14 pm »

I was using Media Center today and it crashed. After that it crashed immediately when I tried to restart it. After half a dozen or so attempts, and a reboot, I deleted my ~/Library/Application Suppport/J River directory.

After that it worked, but I had to re-enter my license key... and now I'm told I only have eight re-activations left on my license for this year.

So, two questions:

- What should I have done in this situation to get it going again without using up an activation?

- Given that I only bought the license two days ago and I've already apparently used up two of 10 activations, is this actually enforced? Should I be worried that I'm going to run out of activations and no longer have access to the software?

Thanks

You'll never run out of activations.  If you're getting low, just let us know and we'll reset it for you.
