  • Shoes gone again!

I'm not sure what you're asking.  Could you type it out in a little more detail?

feedly is rss feed aggregator, it replaced google reader...basically stores all your feeds, and works/syncs with browsers and phones. So curious if possible to get feedly into theaterview. So i can see all my feeds... I had setup youtube into theaterview/subscriptions as ive mentioned many times but that no longer shows my subscriptions and when it did, there was no sorting/no way to view a channel.

I'm just trying to get things our family subscribes to... into jriver's theaterview... but I can't. so i thought maybe feedly would work?

Have you tryed Youtube TV (https://www.youtube.com/tv#/). I added it to Theater View since I cannot get their Youtube to work. YouTube TV works well even with a remote.

Try a different browser. I think I got that too when I used Internet explorer. Switch JRiver to chrome and it worked.

few questions before I proceed please
1. Do i need chrome installed?
2. Where do i choose this/install the link in jriver/theaterview?
3. would i enable this on just the server? or would it need to be on each client as well?

1. Do i need chrome installed?

No JRiver has their own version.

2. Where do i choose this/install the link in jriver/theaterview?

First make sure you are using chrome as your browser in JRiver.
options -> Tree&View -> Web Browser -> Engine:Chromium

Next go to:
options -> Theater View -> under 'Items To Show' click on 'Add -> Web Page -> Details' and enter in web address 'https://www.youtube.com/tv#/' and name 'Youtube TV' Then save.
Fire up Theater View
Navigate to where you have Youtube TV
Click your link.
Go to and sign in.
It will have you go to 'youtube.com/activate' and give you a code to enter.
After you enter the code it should start working.

Not sure on this one I do not use a client, but I would guess thats where you need to do it (client).

Hope this helps and my instructions are not too confusing.

It would be handy to have a phone or computer handy to enter the web page.
'youtube.com/activate'

I then went to each client, connected to the JRiver Server, it loaded that library, i then went to...

kk, thanx for the info. (hoping they do some tweaking. Categorizes would be nice... tough to scroll through lists of hundreds of subscriptions.) I did noticed that playlists show up separately which is nice, but does no good for showing full channels).

I'll look around too, what is it im looking for that would work just like the youtubetv? (what is Youtube tv considered that allows it to work in Theaterview?)

Thanks
