sudden track skip and volume maxes out
« on: January 17, 2015, 06:36:11 pm »

Hi trying to trace down a problem here, I have MC19 with the latest update running windows vista home version and a m2tech young dac, and active jbl speakers. I have music files stored in the library some were ripped from cd`s a few others bought from hdtracks.
Lately when I play music it`ll play for a while then all of a sudden it`ll skip to a track not in que and the volume will be full blast almost splitting my eardrums, giving me a heart attack and god knows what damage to my speakers  :(
I`ve run some maintenance programs on my pc as well as virus scanners, really dont what to do and I have no idea what would cause this.
I do know that if I configure to system volume it`ll play way too loud even with the volume setting at zero, learned that the hard way with MC14 or 15, anyhow I`ve checked then rechecked and I have it set for internal volume which runs fine for a while then just freaks out.
Is there any way to check the player and see if its the cause?
