Unable to sync iPod 160GB Classic with MC21 (ok on MC14)
« on: March 17, 2016, 08:57:03 am »

I upgraded from MC14 to MC21 and even though I'm syncing the same playlists to the same iPod MC21 won't sync.  It says "None of teh tracks could be transferred...".

I still have MC14 on this machine so fired that up and it synced fine.

Any idea what could be happening?  Do I really have to restore the iPod due to changing MC versions?

Sorry that was an error in my original question.  I updated my comment above now.  MC14 works and MC21 does not.

I have carefully checked all the settings are exactly the same.

Ok I suddenly had a brainwave and thought what it might be.

I originally migrated from MC14 Windows to MC21 Mac, creating a Mac compatible library.  Then I went back to windows but with MC21.  So I changed my MC21 Mac library to be a MC21 windows library (changed the file paths).  This library worked fine on MC21 windows except for the iPod sync.  Anyway I figured it must be something to do with it so I went back to my MC14 windows library and made a copy to use with MC21 on windows and that syncs fine.

Good.  Thanks for letting us know what the problem was.
