JRiver + ffdshow audio decoder... Is that possible?

Ï want to combine JRiver and ffdshow audio decoder for music and video playback. Is that possible?

You can pick 'Custom' for the video mode (Options > Video) and specify decoders.

However, you're better to just let MC use LAV.  It's the industry leading decoder.

A lot of people who were using ffdshow in the early days, changed to LAV over the past few years.

Then some months ago, JRiver hired the developer of LAV to work on JRiver MediaCenter.

So, unless you have some very specific and unique reason to use ffdshow, it's not necessary (although as Matt pointed out, it is not hard to setup in MediaCenter).

I want to use the ffdshow audio decoder in the "DSP Studio" like a Directshow filter or plugin. it's just to try something.
