Virtual Device Sync
« on: February 12, 2015, 08:15:50 am »

Hello,

I have MC20 and have created a virtual device on my Synology NAS Share running DSM 5.  When I sync it is pretty slow and gets stuck for 15 or so seconds and then does a random number quickly maybe one or two a second and then gets stuck again.  Any ideas why?  You would think it would be faster than a device.

as side the note the reason I am creating a virtual device is to sync over the air with Synologies Cloud Share.

Thanks

David

I have a similar setup, and it is generally working for me. I only sync inside my home network though (no connect ID, I use the LAN IP address of my synology NAS).

Are you syncing any other folders/files with  DS Cloud on the Syno (just to check if you are having DS Cloud issues, independent of MC). You are using DSM 5.0 and not 5.1, right?  I haven't yet moved to 5.1, and I am also a version or two behind on DS Cloud.  Synology has had some real growing and security pains this year, and the later versions still appear to be very buggy.
