JRiver MAC 20.00.67:Open Media File, just opens and plays the first file, no jpg

I have JRiver on PC where I ripped files , tagged and embedded coverpicture (mp3 and flac).

Now when I open with "Open Media File" and select say 10 tracks plus the jpeg's with front and back-cover, JRiver Mac plays and shows only the first file, no jpeg-pictures shown, also no picure in the file itself.

The same on the PC version, where I ripped the CD works flawlessly.
I just copied the whole file folder to the Mac (only Audio Files, pure Folders with flac and mp3 files).

What may be wrong here?
